西湖文化广场作为武林商圈的重要组成部分,是杭州的一张“金名片”。该广场综合提升改造工程是下城区迎G20峰会的重点建设项目之一,而提升改造的亮点之一就是两座喷泉的重新启用。一座,位于环球中心正前方的中心广场上。另一座,位于广场外圈东侧,也就是现在新远国际影城几个大招牌下方的区域。整修提升之后的喷泉还有两大看点,一是“灯光”,一是“水型”。
West Lake Cultural Plaza as an important part of Wulin business district is a "gold card" of Hangzhou. The comprehensive renovation project for the upgrading of the plaza is one of the key construction projects for the G20 Summit in Xiacheng district, and the two re-enabled fountains is one of the highlights in the reform. One fountain is located at the central square which is right in front of the global center. The other one is located in the east side of the square outer ring, which is now in the big area below the International Xinyuan Cinema. The "light" and "water type" are also two watching focuses on refurbished fountains.
据悉,今后除喷泉检修以及遇恶劣天气暂停外,西湖文化广场喷泉都会在每天晚上7点至8点间进行两场表演。两座喷泉会先后表演,东广场的喷泉在先,中心广场喷泉随后,时间大约都在15分钟左右。
